Have a look at the changes we implemented in our office to help protect our patients and staff:
Pre-Screening Of Every Patient
Before making an appointment, we will pre-screen patients on the phone in case they have any symptoms.
Compulsorily Wear a Mask
Make sure to wear a mask whenever you arrive at the dental office to consult your dentist in Santee.
Expanded Patient Appointments
We will manage the appointments in a way that we could maintain social distancing between patients. This means we will be offering fewer options to schedule your visit.
Sanitize Your Hands
We have a hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
Oral Anti-Microbial Rinse
Before making you sit on the dental chair, you will have to use an oral pre-rinse for about 30 seconds.
PPE
We have reinforced our staff and doctor PPE barriers.
Cleaning After Every Appointment
In each operatory, after every patient, we thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect all instruments, equipment, and surfaces to make everything super clean.
Sterilization of Instruments
This is something we do ever since we started our practice. You can trust us and need not worry about anything.
Advanced Staff Training
We have trained our team members regarding additional awareness and also prevention programs to enhance their knowledge and keep them more prepared.
No Magazines Or Toys
Our waiting room will no longer be offering magazines, coffee, or toys, as it's quite hard to clean and disinfect these items.
HEPA filter
HEPA filter or high-efficiency particulate air helps remove small, vexatious, and toxic particles from the air. The filter sucks in the air around it and forces it through a fine mesh. The mesh thus catches tiny particles in the air - dust, pollen, mold, tobacco smoke, micro-organisms, and bacteria. The filter releases the newly cleaned air while the filter captures the harmful substances till it is eliminated and reinstated with a clean filter.
Medify air MA-25
Mission Creek Family Dentistry has invested in the best HEPA available in the town. We use the MA-25 models, which can clean our treatment rooms and other rooms in our office. Besides what HEPA machines can filter, MA-25 models are proven to be beneficial in filtering particles like pesticides, tobacco smoke, asbestos, carbon dust, viruses, paint pigment, carbon dust, and all types of bacteria. We have been following strict cleaning of the air of each of our procedure rooms and other waiting areas for 15 minutes before a patient enters the room. This ensures that every time one patient enters our treatment room, the air would have been Triple-Washed by the filter that captures every micro-organism, including coronavirus, to ensure maximum protection and safety for our patients. Besides, the MA-25 machine also identifies the possible signs of air contamination and speeds up the fan automatically to improve air quality.
Mission Creek Family Dentistry has always tried to meet and exceed the sanitation and purification standards set by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We always follow all the possible measures and infection control protocols to ensure that we maintain a clean, germ-free atmosphere for our patients.
We will be happy to answer any questions you may have in your mind regarding the steps we have taken to make your visit a safe and secure one. To make an appointment with your dentist in Santee, please call our office at (619) 596-1128.
